A couple of years ago, I started by blog at TheLetterTwo.com in order to become a subject-matter-expert and to help raise my presence in the industry. I think though that it’s slowly started to get away from me why I started the blog. Seeing that it’s my professional blog, I thought it rather appropo for me to explain my rationale on my personal blog.
I’m going to go on a brief hiatus on posting on TheLetterTwo.com simply because the intent that I had for the blog is the write about why marketing and the Internet can work so closely together and in fact, many of the entries that I’m seeing there are not about fact or statistics or something that can be credibly cited aside from my own personal experience. So in an effort to increase my knowledge and to write about something I know more about, I’m going to simply stop writing. I’ll still post but not as frequently. I figure that I shouldn’t post just for the sake of posting and if I look at things other than social media, website design, or email marketing, then perhaps I can add a bit more value and talk about something that would intrigue my audience (whomever they may be).
With all the stuff that’s been going on at work, my life, and online, there’s a lot of things for me to take care of and a growing need for me to reinvent the wheel, if not to try and get a bunch of my stuff taken care of before moving forward with some stuff…but until then, I guess I’ll focus some more time on this blog and re-evaluate where I stand with my professional blog at TheLetterTwo.com.

I’m rather ashamed of what our soldiers are doing these days. I support them when they’re fighting for us and whatnot, but c’mon…are you THAT bored that you need to result in killing of innocent animals? I’m talking about the YouTube video that’s been circulating around the Internet of two stupid soldiers (based in Hawaii) who filmed themselves holding a small adorable puppy and then this one idiot hurls the poor canine over a CLIFF and the last sounds you hear are the puppy yelping! It’s absolutely horrible…and all that the news has to report is that the army is going to investigate and if they’re charged, they could be discharged from the military, face a court-martial, or be demoted in rank? Are these things actually going to solve anything?
Obviously they’re guilty because the dumb soldier at the end didn’t even care that he killed an innocent animal. We’re not supposed to be fighting the animals. I thought we’re there to stop Saddam Hussein and defeat the insurgency. If President Bush thinks that our troops don’t have anything to do to quell the violence and bring reconciliation to the land then we should get the hell outta there and let our troops come home where they can find something more productive to do with their time.
I’m absolutely shocked by this and can’t believe that Americans would do such a thing. I’ve always thought that our soldiers were supposed to live a life of morality and something to respect and look up to, but apparently the military is letting anyone in who would kill innocent creatures and bring shame to us. I don’ t know what else to say about this but it’s absolutely gut-wrenching and I’m ashamed of it…

Dog Poisoned in Gaithersburg
January 25, 2008
Gaithersburg, MD — Gaithersburg Animal Control officers are warning pet owners to be on the lookout after they believe a dog in the Kentlands community was intentionally poisoned.
An investigation found that Molly the pug had eaten two types of rat poison that was placed in her family’s yard on two separate occasions; once in November of 2007 and again in January of 2008.
Molly’s owners didn’t know how the rat poison got into their yard. They say they have had reports filed because Molly and their other dog, Roxie, bark too much sometimes and they’ve received anonymous letters about the problem.
Molly became deathly ill both times but was quickly treated and recovered.
Poisoning a dog is a criminal offense in Montgomery County.
Anyone with information on the poisoning incident is asked to call Gaithersburg Animal Control at 301-258-6343 or the Gaithersburg Police Tip Line at 301-330-4471.
