Colt’s coming to Washington, DC

I’m quite surprised that Colt Brennan just got drafted - well not really…but he did get drafted in the sixth round and what’s more interesting is that Colt is playing for the Washington Redskins! Woohoo…now I have a good chance of seeing the Heisman finalist playing at RFK stadium this season as a backup to Jason Campbell. I think it’s surprising that Colt got drafted so late in the NFL draft. The pundits were predicting perhaps late in the second round, but I’m guessing that it’s a result of his performance at the Sugar Bowl and that some teams were worried about his health.

The above video was taken from the Fox 5 10 o’clock broadcast and I hoped to have them show the announcement of Colt Brennan from the draft. Sorry that the video is some poor quality. It’s from a webcam shot of a TV broadcast…

C’mon, Colt. I know you’ll do well. I hope I’ll be able to see you in action this season, but that remains to be seen…good luck in the preseason!
