Sacrificing sleep for the good of a project
March 28, 2008
So it’s Friday morning right now. The past few days have been pretty much hardcore work nonstop. This is insane, but I’ll be glad when this site is launched although it’ll be rather difficult to comprehend having little to do in April after the fact. Well maybe I’ll have more time to devote to posting stuff on my blogs or reading different postings and exploring more social media type stuff and getting some other stuff done. Who knows…but for now, I’m getting pretty exhausted. I’ve been up basically nonstop for the past 24 hours. I’ve only had 4 hours of sleep and it looks like this morning won’t be any different.
I’ve been at work early around 7:45am everyday and don’t even leave the office until 10-11pm and then jump back on the computer when I get home around midnight until about 2am…it’s just a matter of getting a lot of stuff done for the site and it’s all with the content. It’s been pretty calm and relaxed over the past couple of days, but there are a few moments each day that have caused me to doubt whether I can pull this together. I certainly hope that I’ll be able to do this. It’s Friday already and the grand launch party is on Wednesday where the press and all the other folks will want to see how it works. Yikes! Talk about real stress…I’m guessing that Friday evening won’t be any different. I’ll be hauling ass to make sure I get things done.
Goal for Friday: finish loading all the content into the site and start looking for images…
