This is why I don’t bet on March Madness

I hope you all are keeping up with March Madness. This NCAA basketball bracket is killing me. I’m not typically this bad at picking winners - but I am somewhat bad at picking ‘em, but it’s already the second round and my picks just decimated my predicted outcomes. I guess that’s what’s making this so complicated. March Madness has 64 teams competing for a national championship while collegiate football has different games and the illusion that there’s a national championship and you’re betting on the scores in 4 quarters and not individual games. Well I suppose you can predict the game’s outcome for the numerous bowl games out there, but I think it’s easier for me to do that than these basketball games.

So I suppose I can thank Duke and their weak game today that screwed me this year. I don’t think I’ll root for them again…but we’ll see. Glad I didn’t play in any pools….
