A little fashion quagmire
December 30, 2007
So as I pack for my trip to New Orleans, I decided to try on the UH jersey that I supposedly “got” a couple of weeks ago - first of all, it’s the WRONG jersey. I ordered the #15, but instead I got #7. Both players are really good so either way it’s fine, but the fact that the UH bookstore got my order wrong is really stupid of ‘em. But nevertheless, that’s not my dilemma here.
So I ordered a medium-sized jersey, since they’re a little bigger size than normal clothes or something like that. I tried it on and realized that it’s hella big. Well okay, maybe around the sleeves. Now is that a fashion faux pas? The sleeves go down past my elbows and it looks like it’s oversized, but there’s nothing I can do about returning it now. I’d really like to wear it to the game, but I don’t want it to look horrible…I’ll wear it heading to New Orleans, but damn…it really sucks. I think it looks good, but I also care about what other folks think. Yeah, I succumb to peer pressure quite often…go figure.
What’s your two-cents? Should I bring it to the game or not?

BRING IT TO THE GAME!!! LOL! Dude, jerseys are always meant to be bigger. They make ‘em on the assumption you’re going to put pads and other gear on beneath the jersey.
Either that, or just eat a lot and get fat. Then you’ll fill out your jersey. LOL!
