New Year’s resolution for 2008
December 29th, 2007
So I should probably write up my New Year’s resolution here as opposed to December 31 as I’ll probably (and hopefully) be partying it up in New Orleans Monday-Wednesday. So here are my resolutions for the upcoming year, even though chances are that I won’t be able to meet them:
- Get more organized in terms of the industry that I’m in and strive to become more of the subject-matter expert that I so desperately want to be considered as.
- Head back to the gym a lot more than what I’ve done in 2007 - made some progress last year, need to make an even more better effort.
- Get out of the house more and visit new place, locally, nationally, and maybe even across the pond.
- Be more connected - more technologically savvy.
- Reconnect with old friends, new friends, and future friends.
- Stop swearing. Or at least tone it down considerably. I think I’m making headway, but I wanna put more effort to it. Good for me, huh?
- Make plans to do what I’ve been saying what I need to do. Too ambiguous? Too bad…
- Have more fun.
Looking back I saw that I only accomplished a few things from my 2007 list. But then again, I suppose that’s normal as most people probably never follow through on their list. Here’s hoping that 2008 will be a great year.
